About

Aims

To provide an accurate, positive, single source of focused content that  assists those looking to reverse their type 2 diabetes using the Newcastle 600 diet.

To vacillate a self-help support mechanism that aims to increase the success rate of diabetes reversal.

Stimulus

I had previously controlled my diabetes by diet alone but it was now, suddenly, out of control. My blood sugars were above 20, I was feeling most unwell and I had been prescribed Metformin Hydrochloride.

Before going onto what I knew was a long cycle of drugs I wanted to give myself one more chance.

Research

As I looked into the possibility of reversing my diabetes, the clear logical favourite, as far as I was concerned, was the so called Newcastle 600 diet. It needed something more do provide a properly affirmed status.

I felt that I was walking a mostly new, untrodden path. It wasn't untrodden, simply no one was fully documenting it.

Richard Doughty Article

I came across Richard Doughty's article, "I reversed my diabetes in just 11 days - by going on a starvation diet" which further spurred me on.

Why Henry's Way

I couldn't call the site the Newcastle 600 diet as that would be clearly be wrong as visitors may think that this was a Newcastle University associated site, which it isn't. I have no medical qualifications at all. I can and do share my research and my journey to become diabetes free. (or in remission).

My name is Henry and I reversed my diabetes my way, Da Da !
