Finished

Finished, done it, eat and drink all you like

No, well I didn't.
The research I have read is clear, gain the weight and over time your diabetes will return.
Your new goal is to get to your "Happy Life Weight" (See the previous page)
I introduced one balanced meal at the end of the day.
I started to allow myself the odd glass of wine.
Let me know what worked for you.

Building up your upper body muscle

On Professor Taylor’s advice, build up your upper body muscle: bigger muscles soak up more glucose as energy, and thus prevent the body from storing more than it needs.

Some of you will not have reversed your diabetes

I am so sorry. It is known that a proportion will not have been able to reverse their diabetes after the 8 weeks.

Research to date indicates that our age and how long we have suffered Diabetes makes a significant difference to our chances of success. The worst odds mentioned are for over 60's who have had diabetes for more that 10 years @ 50:50 of succeeding. With these odds it had to be worth a go.

You should feel great by now, having achieved a complete reversal or not

Further research funding has been announced [Oct 2015] by Diabetes UK so please do not give up hope.

For those no longer diabetic

I asked that if you did succeed in revering your diabetes that you consider offering your support to at least 5 others.

This would normally only be online or over the phone.

If you feel able to consider helping please indicate this when registering your success and I will send you more information for your consideration.
